“The WPGA Tour of Australasia is the home of the region’s best women professional golfers.

Formerly known as The ALPG Tour (ALPG) and established in 1972, it is one of nine major international women’s golf tours recognised by the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

As the sanctioning body for professional women’s golf within Australasia, the WPGA Tour now has more than 300 members, and a tournament schedule which boasts world-class tournaments co-sanctioned with the Ladies European Tour – Its flagship events, the Women’s Australian Open and the WPGA Championship of Australia, along with the NSW Open, and the Australian Women’s Classic.

In 2021, the WPGA Tour partnered with the PGA of Australia to run a unique series of tournaments know as Webex Players Series, where men and women professionals are in the same field, competing against each other on the same golf course for the one trophy and a share of the one prize money pool.”
